LIVE TECHNICAL DISCUSSION SERIES
Brief about topic :
Retrofitting of structures is indeed a vast science. The whole process of retrofitting may not yield the intended purpose if the appropriate approach is not used. The entire process may be divided in two parts, firstly, preliminary evaluation and secondly, detailed evaluation. The preliminary evaluation may aim to access the root cause, requirement of retrofitting, retrofitting scheme, tentative budget, etc. Finally, in the detailed evaluation, the exact structural analysis, design, detailing for retrofitting, etc. may be emphasized. In the upcoming live session, we will discuss this important area wherein Dr. Dilip Khatri will share his insight on the subject.
