INTRODUCTION
LIVE TECHNICAL DISCUSSION SERIES
We received number of requests from engineers to arrange a live discussion related to offshore structures. Design of offshore structures indeed bring numerous challenges as compared to the onshore structures. Accordingly, the next live discussion is planned on the offshore structures.
Let’s explore offshore structures – loopholes in design & mitigation from occurring seismic hazard, geo hazard and structural hazard.
In the live discussion Er. Arpit Parikh will join with us for sharing his experiences in the field of offshore structures. Following areas would be covered in the discussion:
- Properties of Soil – Structural Interaction in offshore structures
- Loopholes in designs…
- Methodologies of design LRFD method, WSD method, Limit Equilibrium methods –
- Types of foundations to be used for offshore structures –
- In depth , Height wise classification and its scientific understandings –
- Modal Analysis in 6 degrees of freedom. –
- Interaction of Environmental loads with Structures
- Occurrence of hazard & Mitigation of Structural, Geo, Seismic hazard….
- Case studies….
Your specific doubts/queries pertaining to the above mentioned areas are invited in the registration form. It would help us to structure the discussion.
The event is sponsored by Sanghi Cement. For inquiries related to sponsoring the events may be sent to sponsor@sqveconsultants.com
